He and his thousand rich friends took refuge from disease unknown
To entertain a masquerade to celebrate arrogance, his own

Watch as the masqueraders dance and revel through the rooms of life
Each of the seven chambers, opulence and greed were rife
Blue, purple, green, orange, white, violet, and in the room of death
Black and velvet adorned the walls with the clock that sealed their fate

Chimes of the clock of ebony
Tied to the gears of destiny
Each ring of the bell causing mass unease
Constant reminder of the cursed disease

The depravity of Prince Prospero will lead him to his bitter end
In the apartment of red and black, to the pits of hell he descends
Excess and avarice can’t sheild from wrath, headed down his fated path
Falling to the floor, takes his last breath, bested by the Masque of the Red Death

Right at the stroke of midnight, the party meets its unusual guest
“Even with the utterly lost, there are matters not deserving of jest”
The figure dressed as death himself, with a resemblance of their plague
He enters the blue chamber and halts the masquerade

Prince Prospero and his partygoers
Halt their waltzing to witness the horror
The Red Death lurks through the colored rooms
The foolish prince will lead all them to their doom
